Biociding and Disinfection

Disinfection alone does not ensure compliance with the new recommendations. The system must be cleaned first using a fine biocide mist into the supply system straight after the clean.

A quality clean is achieved using different techniques such as air blast, rotary brush, vacuum, scrape. In many cases only using one of these will not comply with the current regulations. There is single technique that will clean all the internal parts of a ventilation system.

Any debris found is sealed in air tight bags for disposal and a certificate is issued for your Air Hygiene Log.

The biocide used is approved for ventilation systems and is a virucide and sporacide. It has no odour or chlorine agents and is safe for occupants. All cleans are carried out in accordance with Standard Method Statement DIS1.
