Kitchen Extracts & Degreasing remove grease particles that accumulate in a kitchen extraction system present a very real risk of fire. Extraction systems can be extensive and are a potential route for fire to travel through a building.

High temperatures within the duct could cause any grease accumulated to ignite. The fire could then be very difficult to control and contain effectively.

Regular cleaning can reduce the risk of fire and we would recommend the cleaning of your ductwork on a regular basis. Our guidelines are that for Heavy Use (12-16 hours a day) that a quarterly clean is required. Moderate Use requires a clean every 6 months and Light Use requires an annual clean.
